Three Bedford police officers are being commended for their heroism after rescuing a mother and her two young sons from a house fire.

Officers Jordan Baschnagel, Joseph Sagliano, and Ronald Sauber responded to a fire on Park Avenue on May 31. Bodycam footage shows the officers pulling the family from the burning home.

Local leaders are now honoring the officers for their bravery. The Westchester County Board of Legislators awarded them certificates of merit for their actions.
