A senior was rescued by first responders Saturday after falling from the top of a steep hill in Mount Kisco.

The Mount Kiso Fire Department and ambulance corps worked with Westchester EMS and members of the Westchester County Police Department to help the victim.

Due to the steep incline, firefighters used a rope rescue system to safely reach the individual and lower them on to stable ground.

Authorities say the victim was hospitalized for minor injuries.
