A new Cajun-style restaurant is serving Louisiana food and culture to the Village of Pleasantville in Westchester County,

Crawdaddy's Creole Kitchen, located on 68 Wheeler Ave., serves both drinks and dishes of the Big Easy.

The grand opening of the eatery was welcomed with a ribbon-cutting on Tuesday night.

The purple and gold interior decorations are a common theme throughout the rooms like the 'Voodoo Lounge.'

Business was bustling as the staff served dinner to a full list of reservations.

Co-owner, Chef Michael Boulos said the menu pays homage to New Orleans.

"They say do what you love. I say here we are doing what we love. There is love in all that food. And if there is one ingredient you can't cook Creole without: is love," said Boulos.

There are some specials on the menu including crab cakes, crawfish bisque and a surf and turf platter that is a combination of Rib Eye steak, grilled shrimp and mussels.

The restaurant is open seven days a week for lunch and dinner.
