A Croton-on-Hudson man is trapped in a cave in Turkey.
Mark Dickey, an experienced caver, has been trapped since Aug. 31.
He was about two-thirds of a mile deep inside the Morca Cave when he began having stomach issues and internal bleeding.
Rescuers say getting him out will be a challenge.
"This is the most difficult cave rescue I've ever been involved with because he's so far and it's so remote, and it's so arduous to get there between the verticalness of it and how tight it is, so I'm ranking it in the top 10 rescues that I've ever heard off," says Carl Heitmeyer, of the New Jersey Initial Response Team.
A GoFundMe has been created to reimburse the team for their expenses.
