Rep. Mike Lawler's Wikipedia account was restored Wednesday evening following allegations that he had been blocked from the site. 

His spokesperson says the account's original block was due to editing under the name of a well-known individual without verifying that identity - not due to any edits the congressman made. 

News 12 reached out to Wikipedia for comment, but has not heard back.
