Here are some stories making headlines across the Hudson Valley.

A Mount Kisco man is now facing charges in the stabbing death of another resident. County police say they found a man with multiple stab wounds when they arrived at the house on Lexington Avenue Saturday night. The victim was taken to Northern Westchester Hospital where he was later pronounced dead. Police say Oscar Morales stabbed the victim during an argument. He's charged with manslaughter and is being held in Westchester County Jail.

           

A Middletown man will serve 12 years to life in prison for his role in a shooting in Orange County. Police say they obtained video showing Wayne Lewis handing a firearm to another suspect. That suspect then shot a man in the leg back in December. The victim survived. Lewis pleaded guilty to attempted criminal possession of a weapon.

An Orange County man will spend 80 years to life behind bars for the attempted murder of two state troopers.Patrick Hermanowski fired at the troopers two years ago while they were responding to a domestic dispute.Hermanowski was charged with two counts of attempted murder of a police officer and criminal possession of a weapon.
