Twist of fate brings together 2 HV women battling rare disease
<p>Two Hudson Valley women suffering from the same rare disease were brought together by a twist of fate. Maureen Carter, of Chester, and Jo-Anne D'Addesio, of Thornwood, were both diagnosed with a rare liver disease called "Primary Biliary Cholangitis" or PBC, around the same time their children met on Match.com.</p>
