A overturned tanker dumped an estimated 2,000 gallons of waste oil in Woodbury yesterday.
Police say the oil tanker flipped over on the westbound side of Route 6 near Route 293 around 5 p.m.
Cops say they went off the highway after colliding with another car. The top of the oil truck ripped open and the waste oil spilled out. The roads were closed for hours as crews tried to clean up the mess.
Officials say the driver of the truck was taken to the hospital with serious, but not life-threatening injuries.
