There's been a leadership shakeup at the New York State Thruway Authority.
Executive Director Tom Madison has resigned, along with the authority's Chief Financial Officer John Bryan. Both resignations are effective immediately, and neither man has given a reason.
Sources tell News 12 the resignations are linked to a report, to be released soon, which is highly critical of the agency's operations.
Among other responsibilities, the authority has been overseeing construction of the new Tappan Zee Bridge.
