2 swimmers rescued from Hudson River

Fire officials say two swimmers had to be rescued in the Hudson River near Little Stony Point Park on Wednesday.
Rescuers from the Cold Spring Volunteer Fire Department saw a man and a woman having trouble staying above the water. A deputy removed his duty gear and began swimming towards them.
He got them on the boat, where they were brought to shore with the help of a civilian boater.
The man and woman refused medical treatment.
