Two men were wounded in a shooting at the Van Dyke NYCHA houses in Brownsville on Friday night, according to the NYPD.

It happened just after 10:30 p.m. near 422 Blake Ave.

Police say officers found a 29-year-old man with a gunshot wound to the right arm. Paramedics took him to Brookdale Hospital, where the NYPD says he is expected to recover.

The second victim, a 30-year-old man, took himself to Brookdale just after midnight. He suffered a gunshot wound to the lower back and is also expected to be OK, according to police.

Sources close to the investigation tell News 12 that six or seven men dressed in all black were spotted running from the housing complex after the shooting. They also say investigators recovered ballistics at the scene.

Details about what led up to the shooting were not immediately known.

No arrests have been made as of Saturday night.
