Two people were hospitalized after a vehicle crashed near the side of a home in Spring Valley.

The crash occurred at around 1 a.m. Sunday on Lafayette Street.

Witnesses say a Ford F-150 pickup was heading eastbound on Clinton Street when it lost control, jumped the curb, hit a parked vehicle and flipped over on the home's front yard. It landed against the home, but crews say no one inside was injured.

Firefighters arrived at the scene to help pull two males from the Ford.

News 12 is told one of the males was taken to Westchester Medical Center in critical condition. The other was treated and released. He is being questioned by police to determine whether alcohol was a factor in the crash.
