Authorities are looking for whomever abused two dogs found in Mount Vernon last week
The Mount Vernon Animal Shelter is sharing a Crime Stoppers flyer on social media which says police are looking for whoever is responsible for this cruelty.
According to the flyer, Precious, a pit bill, was found emaciated, pregnant, with open wounds on her face on Seneca Avenue last Tuesday.
The next day, Grace, also a pit bull, was found in the same area, and was also dangerously thin with wounds.
Both of them are now at the city's animal shelter getting care.
In the meantime, Mount Vernon police and the SPCA want your help finding whoever is responsible. They are offering up to a $2,500.
