Two Yonkers Catholic parishes celebrated Sunday Mass for the last time at their churches.
Most Holy Trinity and St. Denis are among the dozens of churches in Hudson Valley that will no longer hold regular services on Sundays. Officials say Most Holy Trinity will merge with St. John the Baptist, while parishioners at St. Denis will join St. Peter's Church.
The move is part of a merger across the New York Archdiocese.
The two churches will only be used for special occasions after today.
