Two boys were arrested for allegedly burglarizing the Crazy Paint paintball shop in Mohegan Lake twice in one night.
On Wednesday night at around 7:30, store owner Anthony Galasso says he was notified that something had triggered his security alarm.
He returned to the store, found nothing missing and locked up. About 90 minutes later, the alarm went off again.
Once more, Galasso found nothing missing, but when police arrived they say they found an empty red duffel bag outside a burglarized door.
Yorktown police arrested the two boys, 9 and 11. They say the 9-year-old first attempted the burglary on his own and then came back with his friend.
They were tracked down by police dogs, and a security camera in the parking lot captured them coming and going, investigators say. Police are not releasing their names because they are minors.
Both boys have been charged with juvenile delinquency.
Galasso says that while nothing was taken, the damage to the side door amounted to hundreds of dollars.
