Family, friends bid final farewell to 16-year-old killed after Arlington HS football game

Family and friends gave their final farewell to the 16-year-old who was killed after an Arlington High School football game earlier this month.
It was standing room only inside Beth-el Church of God in Christ on Hooker Avenue in Poughkeepsie as people came together to remember 16-year-old Quraan Smith.
The Arlington High School junior was said to have loved the color blue, basketball, football and his family.
Smith’s alleged killer, 18-year-old city of Poughkeepsie resident Nestor Ortiz-Ocampo, is charged with first-degree manslaughter and is expected to be in LaGrange Town Justice Court early next month.
