A 13-year-old boy accused of choking and threatening another student has been arrested, according to Yonkers police.

Officers responded to the school on June 5 after receiving a report of a past sex-related offense.

They say the investigation concluded that the boy used sexually explicit language and threats toward the 12-year-old girl while choking and forcibly touching her during recess.

The boy is charged with criminal obstruction of breathing and forcible touching. Police say he has since been released to his mother.

Due to his age, the matter is being handled by family court and no further identifying information will be released.
