9h agoA 13-year-old girl was hit by a box truck at a busy Brooklyn intersection Thursday morning.
Police say the accident took place on Avenue J and Coney Island around 7:30 a.m. According to police, the teen was crossing the street after getting off the bus when she was struck.
The 13-year-old girl is currently in Maimonides Hospital in critical condition.
The driver of the truck remained on the scene along with the MTA bus still near the curb.
