A 10-year-old is recovering from minor injuries after they were hit by a car Thursday at the TJ Maxx parking lot in Wallkill.

Wallkill
police say the child was taken to Westchester Medical Center with internal
injuries.
They
say the driver stayed at the scene and was not charged.
Police
say the child is expected to be OK.
