1 winning ticket sold in Mega Millions drawing
New York State lottery officials say that one lucky New Yorker is now a multi-millionaire. According to the lottery?s website, a ticket was purchased on Long Island that won an estimated $206 million.

New York State lottery officials say that one lucky New Yorker is now a multi-millionaire.
According to the lottery?s website, a ticket was purchased on Long Island that won an estimated $206 million.
The numbers for Dec. 27, 2011 were 23, 32, 33, 39 and 43. The Mega Ball number was 8, and the Megaplier number was 3.
The actual payout for the $206 million is an annuity in 26 annual payments, or $151,900,000 one-time-lump-sum cash payment.
There were also 16 second-tier Mega Millions winners that matched five out of six Mega Millions winning numbers for $250,000 each.
