? One person was killed and two others were injured after an SUV crashed on the Bronx River Parkway in the early hours of 2009.
Police say the accident took place at approximately 6:30 a.m. when the vehicle, which was heading northbound, hit the divider, went across the parkway and into the woods. One of the passengers was killed. The driver and another passenger were taken to Jacobi Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.
Police are now trying to determine if speed, ice or alcohol played a factor in the deadly accident. No other vehicles were involved. Investigators are interviewing the driver and surviving passenger to gather more information.
