One person has died and two people were injured after a motorcycle crash on I-95 Sunday morning in Rye.
Police tell News 12 Connecticut that a medical emergency may have been the cause of the crash.
"One of the riders suffered from an unknown medical condition, lost control of his motorcycle, which resulted in two other motorcycles involved in the accident," says New York State Police Capt. Richard Mazzone.
When ambulances arrived at the scene, which happened off of Exit 22, they found one of the victims in traumatic arrest.
Authorities tell News 12 the motorcyclist later died in the hospital.
They say the other two bikers are in stable condition.
Traffic was at a standstill until police reopened the highway at noon.
