Yankees fans return to stadium for opening day
Monday marked a new chapter at 161st Street in the Bronx as the Yankees' faithful returned for opening day.
The gates were flooded with fans ready to start the 2015 journey, which pitted the Yanks against the Toronto Blue Jays
It will be a year without the captain Derek Jeter, who retired last year. It's also a new page for Alex Rodriguez, who was the team's designated hitter today after spending last season suspended for performance-enhancing drugs. Many fans say they are ready to forgive him.
Toronto ended up winning 6-1, but fans said it was just the first day and the Bronx Bombers have plenty of time to turn things around.
