The Walk With Frank is still going on, but this weekend it was more about gathering than walking.
The community came together Saturday at Thomas Bull Memorial Park Day Camp Pavilion in Orange County to help raise awareness for issues veterans face.
As News 12 has reported, Frank Romeo was disabled in the Vietnam War and has PTSD. He has been walking across New York state to raise awareness for veterans' issues.
This weekend's message focused on Mental Health Awareness Month.
Romeo believes the stigma surrounding mental health in the country is not helping veterans.
