A hidden-camera program taping in Tarrytown this weekend caught many residents by surprise.

The ABC program "What Would You Do?" can be deceiving, with actors hoping to get a reaction from passersby. On Main Street this weekend, actors portraying a mother and child acted out a scene in which the mother leaves the child crying after she drives off.

The scene was ripped from real-life headlines of a Scarsdale mother who allegedly kicked her kids out of the car and told them to walk home from White Plains.
