Tracy Morgan out of hospital, at rehab center to recover after fatal NJ Turnpike crash
Actor and comedian Tracy Morgan is out of the hospital and at an undisclosed rehab center as he continues to recover following a deadly crash on the New Jersey Turnpike.
Morgan's publicist says the actor will likely remain at the rehabilitation center for the next few weeks.
As News 12 has reported, the crash earlier this month killed one of Morgan's friends, comedian James McNair, also known as Jimmy Mack, of Peekskill. Several others were injured.
The chain-reaction crash happened when a tractor-trailer smashed into Morgan's bus. The truck driver has been charged in the crash.
A preliminary report says that the driver of the Walmart truck was speeding and had not slept in more than 24 hours.
