Police responded to two shootings early Saturday morning in Ansonia.

Officials were responding to a shooting on Main Street when another report of a shooting came in from High Street and Lester Street.

Authorities say the first victim was a 40-year-old man who was shot in the torso. He is in critical condition.

The second victim was a 27-year-old man who was shot in the shoulder. According to the Connecticut Post, the 27-year-old is in stable condition.

There is so far no word if these incidents are related.
