Police: Suspect pulls gun, demands cash at 7-Eleven in Islip Terrace

ISLIP TERRACE -

Police say a 7-Eleven in Islip Terrace was robbed at gunpoint early Sunday morning.

The robbery happened around 2 a.m. at the 7-Eleven on Lowell Avenue.

Investigators say the suspect pulled out a gun and demanded cash from the clerk.

As News 12 previously reported, there was another armed robbery at a 7-Eleven in Melville just 24 hours before this robbery.

Police say they're investigating if the two robberies are connected.
