A 10-year-old from Bergen Beach is now a finalist on a TV talent show.

Jolie Rose Wasserman has a passion for singing and acting. Her skills have earned her a spot in the finals of “The Celebration of Music,” a PBS talent show that highlights young musicians in America.

Wasserman has already appeared on shows like “Gotham,” along with commercials. She will also be filming for “Sesame Street” next week.

The 10-year-old's singing has even brought her closer to her father.

When Jared Wasserman went into a coma after his shoulder surgery, he says his wife would have Jolie sing to him over the phone.

"When she would put the phone to my ear I would hear Jolie's voice," Jared Wasserman says. "Jolie was not even speaking so much from what I remember, I guess it motivated me to get better.”

Jolie Rose Wasserman says she eventually wants to be in movies or to perform in concerts.

Finals for the PBS competition take place at the end of October.
