Shelton man arraigned on child porn charges after arson arrest

An arson investigation involving a Shelton volunteer firefighter has turned into a child pornography case.
William Tortora, 57, was charged with arson in connection with a fire in a pickup truck outside a firehouse in February.
Police say they seized Tortora's phone as part of the investigation, and discovered multiple pictures and videos.
Tortora has been behind bars since his arrest and has been arraigned on the new charges.
