Kids turn out for annual Yonkers Easter egg hunt

Posted: Updated:
YONKERS -

The Yonkers annual Easter egg hunt was held at the War Memorial Field this morning.

Kids from ages 4 to 12 came to pick up the 600 eggs available during the hunt.
The children also had a chance to meet with the Easter Bunny.

The event ran out of eggs filled with candy during the hunt but improvised by giving the children who picked up empty eggs money instead.
