MONSEY -

Water was restored Monday to a private school in Monsey.

Congregation Bais Chinuch Ateres Bnos says the pipes have been repaired at their building on Route 306.

The repair comes after the pipes burst from recent cold temperatures.

Instead of closing, the school stayed open and supplied water from a garden hose.

The Health Department re-inspected the school on Friday and found no violations.
