News 12 Westchester's Richard Giacovas was in Yonkers during the whipping winds, frigid cold and snowfall of Thursday's nor'easter
Giacovas says that the winds were so powerful at one point near the Glenwood train station that it nearly knocked him and his photographer off of their feet.
While most of the storm has moved on, he says there was a lot of snow left behind. There was at least 6 inches of snow on Nepperhan Avenue.
As the temperature dropped Thursday evening, the roads looked like they were slowly turning icy.
