Bridgeport police seek suspect in June shooting

BRIDGEPORT -

Bridgeport police are asking for the public's help in tracking down a man who shot a woman at point-blank range.

The shooting happened this past June at Maple and Kossuth streets.

Police say the male suspect walked right up to a woman and shot her twice.

She was rushed to Bridgeport Hospital and survived her injuries.

Police describe the suspect as a thin African-American male wearing a white basketball-style team cap.
