Neighbors say they had previous run-ins with a pit bull who attacked a 3-year-old child last week in Spring Valley.
Police say a boy was rushed to the hospital after a neighbor's dog grabbed him by the neck and dragged him around the driveway. The injured child required stitches.
News 12 has obtained more video from residents that they say shows the same unleashed dog on other occasions, chasing adults and children on the street.
Community activist Yossi Gestetner is demanding police action.
"The video shows that this wasn't a one-off event, where you can say 'Oops.' It happened, and what you gonna do now? There are multiple videos, which we published out there, which shows the dog running loose repeatedly,” he says.
The dog is being held by authorities at the Hi-Tor Animal Shelter while the Rockland County District Attorney's Office reviews the case.
