LGBT community honors Clinton with Trailblazer Award

NEW YORK -

Members of the LGBT community honored former Secretary of State and Chappaqua resident Hillary Clinton.

Advocates in New York City gave her the Trailblazer Award for her show of support.

"Thank you for making the center a hub for LGBT life in New York City," says Clinton. "But more than that, a beacon of hope, a refuge for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people in every corner of our country. "

The event raised almost $2 million to support the LGBT community.
