Republican underdogs rally base in White Plains before Election Day

Republicans told voters in White Plains Monday that even though they?re behind in the polls, people shouldn't count them out.

New York gubernatorial candidate John Faso, U.S. Senate candidate John Spencer and New York state attorney general candidate Jeanine Pirro say voters should disregard the hype and make up their own minds. They?re facing tough uphill battles in a blue state against powerhouse Democrats.

Pirro is running against Andrew Cuomo, who was an insider in the Clinton White House and served as an assistant secretary at Housing and Urban Development. She says her 30 years of law enforcement experience should decide the race. Faso trails New York Attorney General Eliot Spitzer by a whopping 50 points in his quest for the governor?s mansion. Former Yonkers Mayor Spencer is up against incumbent Democratic Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton, whose coffers are well-stocked with millions of dollars.

Westchester and Hudson Valley voters head to the polls Tuesday, November 7.
