A major tractor-trailer accident in Yorktown Tuesday morning has shut down Crompond Road in both directions between Baldwin and Granite Spring roads. Police say the trailer rolled over on the street, knocking out a utility transformer and a fire hydrant. The driver of the trailer has died from the injuries he suffered in the crash.Police are investigating the incident. They say they don't expect the roads to open until after the evening rush hour.
