Beloved Yonkers family man killed in bus crash is buried

Loved ones buried a man Monday who was killed in a Greenburgh bus collision while rushing home to his wife.

Mourners said their final goodbyes to 51-year-old Tasheen Jabbour at Virgin Mary Orthodox Church in Yonkers. Jabbour is being remembered as a loving, dedicated husband and father of two young children. Friends say the holidays will be difficult without the Yonkers man.

A Bee-Line bus hit the victim?s car December 14 when police say he ran a red light on Saw Mill River Road. Police say Jabbour was rushing home to surprise his wife, who happened to drive by the crash site, on her birthday.
