Police: Man goes into cardiac arrest and dies during chase with Yonkers police

An investigation is underway after a suspect collapsed and died during a chase with Yonkers police.



The incident happened early Wednesday morning in a house's backyard on Corbalis Place near Cross Hill Avenue.



Neighbors say they heard a lot of screaming and saw a big struggle in the yard as police tried to apprehend the suspect. Police say the 30-year-old man was accused of breaking into nearby cars.



Police say the man went into apparent cardiac arrest and later died.
