A source tells News 12 that a murder weapon has been found and that there is a suspect in the Justin Speights case.
Speights, 20, died in January after he was stabbed while trying to break up a fight at a party in Crawford.
The source, a high-ranking official, says that police are waiting on a DNA match to make an arrest. The source alleges that teens and young adults who paid to get in to the party were given swastika stamps, and that some partiers engaged in drug-fueled orgies.
Police remain tight-lipped about the murder investigation of the Silver Lake firefighter.
State Police Major Joseph Tripodo says that there was underage drinking at the party, but that revelers who paid to get in were given a black X on their hands.
Police say additional charges could come later against any of the underaged partiers or their parents, but for now their focus remains on bringing the killer to justice.
No arrests have been made. A $20,000 reward is being offered for information leading to an arrest.
