Woman accused of stabbing man in Yonkers

One woman was arrested after she allegedly stabbed a man Saturday in Yonkers.



Yonkers police were called to Caryl Avenue near South Broadway around 4 a.m.



Witnesses say when police arrived they found a man who was stabbed in the hand and neck.



Police say the victim was taken to Saint Joseph's Hospital, while the woman was arrested.



Officers say they initially thought the fight happened outside on the sidewalk, but then learned that the man and woman had been fighting inside a building on Caryl Avenue.



Officials have not released the woman's identity, nor have they said what condition the victim is in.



Police say it is looks like a case of domestic abuse.
