Fire destroys Ossining home

Investigators are trying to determine the cause of a fire that destroyed a house in Ossining Friday.



Ossining fire officials say the fire started at around 6:30 p.m. at 220 North Highland Ave.



No one was home at the time.



More than 65 firefighters were needed to contain the flames, including firefighters from Croton and Briarcliff Manor.
