Doctors: Sandra Lee surgery went well

Food TV star Sandra Lee is recovering from surgery as she fights a severe complication from her mastectomy in May.



A post on Lee's Facebook page says yesterday's surgery took two hours and that the medical team reports that everything went very well.



Her longtime boyfriend, Gov. Andrew M. Cuomo, was at her side dressed in turquoise scrubs and a white surgical mask. He held her hand, as she walked into the operating area for treatment of an infection that hospitalized her one week ago, the spokeswoman said.



On Monday, Lee said she required surgery to combat "an incredible monster" of an infection stemming from her May 19 double mastectomy. AP wires were used in this report
