Heat wave hits the Hudson Valley

Temperatures in the Hudson Valley soared above 90 Tuesday, officially making it a heat wave.

News 12 meteorologists say it is the first official heat wave here since 2013.

The rest of the week is expected to be less humid and slightly cooler with temperatures in the low to mid-80s.

Health officials advise residents to stay hydrated when outdoors.
