Brentwood students volunteer at school's food pantry

Brentwood middle school students do their part to make sure Long Island's homeless and hungry are fed all year long.

Sixth-graders at Brentwood South Middle School volunteer at the school's food pantry. For three years, needy families have been going there for emergency food.

The pantry is open to the community and doesn't close at the end of the school semester.

It has served more than 200 families during the past two years.
