13 arrested in heroin ring bust

A multistate and county police sting took down another major drug ring today.

Code-named "Operation Iron Horse", state police arrested and charged 13 people with selling and possessing heroin. Some of those drug deals went down in parts of Orange County.

Brian Bacon, who calls himself the "Prime Minister", has been charged with operating as a major trafficker, the only felony narcotics charge in the state that carries a possible life sentence.

This bust comes less than 24 hours after almost two dozen people were arrested in Rockland County as part of a massive drug sweep there.
