Suspect wanted in string of purse snatchings

New video has surfaced of the person who police want to question in connection with a string of robberies in the Woodlawn area dating back to August.



According to police, the suspect stole purses from victims on five separate occasions. In some cases, cash, credit cards or cellphones were also taken.



In one of the incidents, investigators say that an elderly victim was hurt after being pulled to the ground when the suspect grabbed her purse. Police say this incident occurred on Oct. 26 at around 8:45 a.m.



The woman told police that after some struggle, the suspect was able to snatch her purse. Video shows the suspect fleeing in a black vehicle.
