Man takes J. Lo street renaming proposal to officals

A permanent tribute to pop star and Bronx native Jennifer Lopez could be coming to the borough, if one fan gets their way.

Edgardo Luis Rivera took his proposal to rename a street in the singer's honor to local officials.

Earlier this year, River started a petition to rename Blackrock Avenue in Castle Hill to "Jennifer Lopez Way."

Rivera says the naming is the only proper way to honor one of the most famous Bronx natives.

There is no word yet on when a decision on the street renaming will occur.
