Man wants traffic changes near 3 schools

A concerned resident is calling for traffic changes at a busy intersection near three schools in University Heights.

Ramon Gonzalez wants the Department of Transportation to install a left turn signal and a camera at 195th Street and Reservoir Avenue.

He says the area sees a lot of traffic, and is unsafe for all of the students walking to and from P.S. 36, P.S. 86 and the Annex.

There are two crossing guards at the corner to help kids get across, but many parents say they should be on duty longer, until all after school programs are done for the day.
